Founded in 2014 by German-British architectural designer Hendrik Rupp, the studio is rooted in a rigorous architectural education and over a decade of international professional experience. Hendrik trained in architecture at the Technical University of Darmstadt before graduating in Interior Architecture from the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt in 2011, earning the German Graduate Engineer degree (Dipl.-Ing. FH).

Before establishing his independent practice, Hendrik worked for Zaha Hadid Architects in London, contributing to large-scale masterplans, mixed-use developments, and high-end interiors across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. This background informs the studio’s approach today: concept-driven yet technically grounded, combining spatial ambition with practical, buildable solutions.

Alongside studio work, Hendrik has led projects from first sketch to completion, including the restoration and adaptive reuse of a listed landmark into a hospitality venue, as well as residential renovations and extensions. The practice brings together architectural thinking, interior design and hands-on project leadership with a strong focus on craft, detail and real-world execution.
